Commander's Corner
Legionnaires,
Thanksgiving is past us now, and I hope all are thankful for all our blessings. We are blessed for the country we live in, and for all our freedoms. Christmas is coming, A time of peace, giving, and praising our God, who sent Jesus to save us from our sins. Remember the reason for the season.
During these trying times try to be understanding, forgiving, and kind to all, even if you don’t agree with or understand them. Remember freedom is for all law-abiding peoples.
Also check on the homebound during these cold wintery days. Give to the food shelves and the poor. They are not in need because they want to be.
For God and Country,
Tom Lee

We hope and pray that 2026 will be an awesome year for your families. Auxiliary meetings are suspended till March 2026.
Best wishes for the holiday season and God bless.

Greetings Sons,
Since this will reach all of you after Thanksgiving, I hope all of you enjoyed the day, ate good food and were surrounded by family and friends. I would like to take a moment to say how thankful I am of the Squadron and all that you do. A Squadron or Post cannot sustain itself without active membership and I would hazard a guess that our Squadron 193 is one of the most active is the state. Thank you for your ideas and participation.
We were in full force this November. We did our last football game on the 7th for the neutral playoff game. Our 2nd Luncheon was on the 15th with Archery and we represented the Legion and veterans at Keys to Progress on the 6th. All of that on top of the numerous Veterans Day ceremonies only brings us halfway through the month.
Our last big event was our annual Fall Craft Sale. As with most of our events this season, it was well staffed but lightly attended. That being said, I barely heard a single complaint. Each of the crafters turned a profit. We filled a box of donations for the Toys for Tots. The food shelf gained some funds and food and the SAL earned a good amount. In no small parr to Dennie and his grilling expertise.
I still wonder how we pulled all of this off in on month. We truly are a special bunch. Looking ahead, our next meeting will be on December 16th and our Luncheon will be on the 13th. We will be hosting the Becker Marching Band. December should be a little lighter but we'll still be doing good as Toys for Tots wraps up and we keep marching forward.
For God and Country, Andrew J. Lee SAL Commander
